Benjamin Gevercer

Senior Associate Attorney, Olson Remcho, LLP

Benjamin Gevercer is a senior associate attorney at Olson Remcho, LLP. Mr. Gevercer represents clients in litigation over election law, education finance, public policy, and constitutional issues. Mr. Gevercer also advises clients on political and government law matters. His work has focused on counseling clients on ballot measures and referenda, including drafting complex ballot measures at both the state and local level, and defending such measures in subsequent litigation. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gevercer worked on presidential campaign in Pennsylvania and North Carolina and at the California Department of Finance on issues such as 2011 Public Safety Realignment, public safety funding and the economic review of regulations. He has authored and co-authored articles on the initiative process and California’s fiscal constitution, published in the University of Southern California Law Review and with the California Constitution Center. Mr. Gevercer is a graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz (B.A., cum laude) and University of California, Davis School of Law (J.D.).
