Dave has provided opinion research and strategic guidance to hundreds of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, businesses, and political campaigns in all 50 states since joining FM3 in 1998. In the 2024 election cycle, Dave’s research helped win statewide ballot measure campaigns in Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio, and in California all four of the ten ballot measures on the state ballot for which Dave provided polling were ultimately successful. Dave has conducted a wide range of research on children’s issues over the years, most of which has focused on securing additional funding to support health, education, and care for children and youth. He has worked extensively on early childhood education and has helped to pass landmark funding measures in California, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, and Texas, in addition to conducting policy research for the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
