James Harrison is a partner at the law firm of Olson Remcho LLP and has been an advisor to FNG since 2021. James was involved in drafting Proposition 10, a 1998 tobacco tax that provides funding for early care and education and established First 5 California and county-level agencies across the state. James has served as counsel to many of those agencies, including First 5 Alameda County and First 5 Sonoma County. James has also been involved in drafting numerous local ballot measure to fund early care and education, including successful measures in Alameda County (2020) and Sonoma County (2024). James is committed to FNG’s work to find funding solutions to serve our children.
