Jesus Sanchez is the son of Mariana and Jose Sanchez and is a first generation chicanx community organizer from Baldwin Park, CA. They are the Co-founder and Director of Economic Justice at Gente Organizada, a Pomona based power building youth-led organization. Prior to Gente, he worked in various community organizing, college access, and youth development roles throughout Southern California. He is a proud alum of Mt. San Antonio Community College and CSU Dominguez Hills. He recently served as a member of the steering committee for the successful Pomona Kids First Ballot initiative in the 2024 election.
